Dinusha completed her PhD in economics in 2009 at Monash University. She joined the Department of Economics as a Lecturer in 2011. Her research interests are in the fields of environmental economics with a special focus on renewable resource management, climate change issues and agricultural and urban water management. Her research in environmental economics has the potential for contributing to policy changes related to environmental issues.

Dinusha is involved in Project P7 (Economic Valuation), within the Cities as Water Supply Catchments Program.
