Tracey Pham

Masters by Research Candidate – Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University
p. (03) 9905 4950

Tracey is passionate about sustainable water practices and other environmental issues. Her background includes completing a Bachelor of Engineering (with honours) at Monash University, and working for a short time at Western Water as a project manager. During her undergraduate degree, Tracey investigated the cost and benefits of several stormwater harvesting projects in Melbourne. She found that such initiatives are cost effective, and will be especially so with the introduction of desalinated water into Melbourne’s water supply. Currently, Tracey is working on “Understanding the role of vegetation in biofilters” for her Master of Engineering (Research) degree.

Tracey’s Masters by Research Project (The Influence of Vegetation on Hydrology and Nutrient Removal in Biofilters) is linked to the Vegetated Filtration Systems/Biofilters theme, within the WSUD Technologies Program.
