Jason started at Monash in August of 2008 as a PhD researcher. Jason’s background is in plant science and horticulture and he has a BSc in Horticulture and Viticulture from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Environmental Engineering from The University of Melbourne. Jason’s research explores the competitive interactions between two common plant species used in biofilters. His work will demonstrate the most appropriate format for planting out biofilters to provide stable plant communities and optimal water treatment capacity.
