Dr Sebastien Le Coustumer

Former PhD Candidate – Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University

Sebastien graduated in 2004 in civil engineering from the French University INSA de Lyon. He then undertook a joint PhD as part of an international research collaboration between the French University INSA de Lyon and Monash University (Australia). Since completion of his thesis (in 2008), Sebastien has worked as a Water Engineer in the Local Government in France (CONSEIL GÉNÉRAL DU FINISTERE), dealing mainly with flood mitigation as well as water quality improvement projects.

Sebastien’s PhD (Clogging and Heavy Metal Removal Efficiency of Stormwater Infiltration Systems for Stormwater Management) is linked to the Vegetated Filtration Systems/Biofilters theme, within the WSUD Technologies Program.
