Dr Godecke Blecken
Former PhD Candidate – Luleå University of Technology, Sweden
Godecke graduated in 2004 in landscape planning and environmental engineering from the University of Rostock, Germany. After having worked 6 months as an environment officer at the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten in Luleå, Sweden, he joined the Urban Water group at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in 2005 where he has completed his PhD in 2010. In 2007 he spent 6 months working within the Facility for Advancing Water Biofiltration (FAWB) at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Currently Godecke continues his research at Luleå University of Technology (Research Fellow).
Godecke’s PhD (Biofiltration Technologies for Stormwater Quality Treatment) is linked to the Vegetated Filtration Systems/Biofilters theme, within the WSUD Technologies Program.
