David K. W. Choy is currently researching nutrient levels in dry and wet weather flow in urban runoff. He holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Malaya and an MSc from Monash University. He has memberships in the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Mining Industry Consultants Association, Australia. His experience includes mining for tin and gold, and geological exploration for base-metals, and in developing zeolite deposits. He helped develop the first zeolite mine in Australia. Previously employed by two companies of the RioTinto Group, he has been working as an independent consulting geologist prior to engaging in water research at Monash University.
