Dr Peter Morison
Leader Stormwater Policy & Regulation – Melbourne Water, Adjunct Research Fellow – Centre for Water Sensitive Cities
Peter has 15 years industrial experience as a scientist, manager, and urban water practitioner. He has worked in catchment management organisations, state government agencies, local governments, and as a consultant to various government organisations managing a diverse portfolio of natural resource and urban water management projects.
From 2006 to 2010, Peter has been a key member within the National Urban Water Governance Program at Monash University, where he has conducted industry‐funded PhD research (Management of Urban Stormwater: Advancing Program Design and Evaluation) and undertaken applied and participatory research in the urban water industry.
Peter has now taken up a position as the Leader of Stormwater Policy & Regulation with Melbourne Water. He remains on as Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre and co-supervises a number of research students within the Urban Water Governance Program.
Peter’s PhD (Management of Urban Stormwater: Advancing Program Design and Evaluation), which he completed in 2009, is also linked to the Institutions and Organisations theme within the Urban Water Governance Program.
