Dr Edoardo Daly
Research Fellow – Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University
p. (03) 9905 4979
Edoardo’s research interests have focused on the links between climate, and hydrologic and biogeochemical cycles by developing mathematical tools that permit understanding of the intricate coupling between them. These models take into account the essential key processes, with emphasis on environmental variability, either continuous (e.g. temperature fluctuations) or in the form of pulses (e.g. rainfall). After joining the Department of Civil Engineering at Monash University, Edoardo started working on models of WSUD systems, trying to understand the relationships of water and nutrient use of the vegetation planted in these systems with their surrounding urban environment, in particular temperature and atmospheric CO2 concentrations.
